Weldon Woodland Park

Officially opened Autumn 2001,
Weldon Woodland Park occupies land between Deeneside and Kettering Road,
which had been quarried for iron ore, then restored.
It is an area of public access, and has a car park, footpaths and play areas.

| A significant part has been planted
with trees. Pupils from Weldon School
have been heavily involved in work on the site.
The play areas have an assortment of apparatus to suit a wide age group. |
