Welland Flooring have demolished the car showroom buildings on the east side of Corby Road. Building of Five houses on the site has now started. 

Unconfirmed reports suggest the bungalow that was part of the filling station will return to residential use.

 Welland Garage has relocated to Southern Bypass, Corby, and regretfully  Hazel's Teashop has now closed.

It seems ironic that as more and more houses are built in the village, more and more amenities are lost! 

Concerns have been voiced about the visibility at the junctions of Water Lane and Hillside Crescent onto Corby Road if housing is permitted on the site.

Just how many more houses do we need in Weldon?
