The development by Persimmons on the site of the Kings Arms / Leys is now complete. Several of the properties have already changed ownership.

The derelict Kings Arms building was demolished during February 2001. 

The Kettering Road to Leys bridge footpath has been fenced either side, and is still usable. The other path that has been used for generations from Church Walk direct to Kettering Road is now blocked. Regretfully I believe this path may have never been officially recognised and designated.
